PALM BEACH, FL — On Monday afternoon, golf course manager Donald Trump was kidnapped by a family of feral apes that had managed to avoid security, infiltrate his home, ransack it, and abscond with the former president of the United States.
Mr. Trump was taken from Mar-a-Lago, his residence and the manager’s office of the golf course he oversees in Palm Beach, Florida, where he spends most of his time.
The apes, believed to have escaped from either a zoo or private collection, have reverted to their wild nature. It is unclear what they might want with the manager of one of Palm Beach’s top 100 golf courses.
Authorities have launched an extensive search operation to locate the apes and Mr. Trump. They remain optimistic about finding him before he becomes too acclimated to the ways of the ape family, and he is expected to fully recover from the incident.
