PALM BEACH, FL — While taking a routine walk on the grounds of Mar-a-Lago, golf course manager Donald Trump was attacked and then completely engulfed by a massive swarm of bees that had recently infiltrated the property.
Mr. Trump, a convicted felon and president of the United States from 2017-2021, appears to have agitated the bees by walking through their nesting area, prompting the bees to erupt in a defensive frenzy. His only available response was a cry for help.
Witnesses described the honey bees as swarming Trump in a dense cloud, creating what looked like a moving, buzzing shroud around his figure, which rendered him immobile in a matter of moments.
Security personnel's attempts to disperse the bees using available brooms only agitated the insects further. After an estimated 10,000 stings and about 15 minutes of desperate struggle, Trump and the bees were finally separated when he was plunged into a nearby swimming pool.
Doctors expect Trump to make a full recovery.
